What a night this has been! I was planning on writing a UFC 250 Review tomorrow morning so I was ready to go to bed and then I look on twitter for two seconds and I see this.
Wow Connor. After UFC250 you just have to hop in and steal the show. You couldn’t announce this “retirement“ at any other time maybe not during one of the most important UFC nights in weeks. This just shows how much of a narcissistic egotistical man Connor is. And in case anyone forgot this is the third time Connor has announced his retirement on Twitter
Obviously based on the trends we will see Connor in a ring or an octagon again but for now the UFC will have to pretend to care that Connor has “retired”. Sadly this “breaking news” will take away from a great night we had tonight including Amanda Nunes becoming the first female fighter to defend two belts as well as stunning knockouts from many bouts throughout the night. While McGregor’s retirement does come at a shock, we all know we will see him fighting Khabib very soon in which McGregor will get his ass whooped.
