Dave Portnoy vs Roger Goodell. The saga continues

Updated: Jul 9, 2020

I legitimately have no words. One of the all time great battles in sport's history has yet another chapter added to the already long book. Dave Portnoy, Chief of Content at Barstool Sports and Owner and CEO of DDTGlobal will be spending the night at Roger Goodell's crib watching Monday Night Football. For anyone that knows the history between these two men, you know how crazy this situation is. For anyone that doesn't, you should know that Dave Portnoy has gone to jail in protest of Roger Goodell. After the deflate gate situation, Portnoy along with Honk, Feits, and Gulcynski went to the NFL offices to participate in a sit-in against Goodell for suspending Brady for an unreasonable amount of games. These 4 were soon after arrested and were escorted right out of the offices in handcuffs by police.

they spent the night in prison

Even more recently, Portnoy was thrown out of the Super Bowl for no apparent reason besides just being there!

Enough said about these two's awful history. Recently with the corona virus, Michael Rubin started a charity called All in where famous celebrities can auction off a unique experience for their "fans." Roger Goodell, being the "great" man he is decided to participate and auction off 2 tickets to any NFL along with the opportunity to go to Goodell's house and watch Monday Night Football with him. Dave Portnoy, being the extremely intelligent man he is, capitalized on this opportunity and decided to bid $250,000 for this experience. Today, he won the auction. So what does this mean. The chances that we have an NFL season have just plummeted due to this recent development. Roger Goodell is way to big of a pussy to ever sit down face to face with Portnoy so there are two options. Cancel the NFL which will indirectly cancel the charity auction or totally decline Portnoy the opportunity. Either way, there will be chaos on the streets. I can't wait to see what happens. Team Portnoy all the way!
