Farewell to the Goat

As die hard Nets fan, all I can say is I am devastated. Theo Pinson, the heart and soul of the Nets, was waived following the signing of Tyler Johnson. Theo joined the Nets at the start of the 2018 after going undrafted in the 2018 draft. He played four years of college ball at UNC and helped them win a national championship in 2017. Although Theo didn't make a strong impact on the floor for the Nets throughout his two years, his impact on the sideline certainly increased the chemistry in the Nets locker room. Theo would always be first to high five the players on the court when a timeout was called and his dancing celebration on the sideline was truly what made him such a special part of the team. His positive energy was just so contagious. NBA fans couldn't help but notice how hype the Nets bench was especially last year, during the 2018-2019 season and it was just hard to root against them. I have never been happier to be a Nets fan and Theo was one of the main reason why.
