Jacksonville Jaguars Season Outlook

The Jaguars 2019 season was pretty irrelevant but highlighted by Minshew Magic. The Jags finally gave up on Blake Bortles and signed former Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles, but when Foles went down in week one, Gardner Minshew, the Jaguars sixth round pick out of Washington State, was the guy. After starting 0-2, Minshew led the team to two straight wins and the term Minshew Magic became popular. And because of Minshew's very unusual appearance, he pretty much became a meme. The Jaguars ended the season 6-10 and then traded Nick Foles this offseason and are riding with Gardner Minshew this coming season. Personally, I don't think he's the guy and the Jaguars are currently the favorites in my eyes to land Trevor Lawrence in next year's draft. Below is my regular season prediction for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Week 1: vs. Indianapolis Colts - loss Week 2: @ Tennessee Titans - loss Week 3: vs. Miami Dolphins - loss Week 4: @ Cincinnati Bengals - loss Week 5: @ Houston Texans - loss Week 6: vs. Detroit Lions - loss Week 7: Bye Week Week 8: @ Los Angeles Chargers - loss Week 9: vs. Houston Texans - loss Week 10: @ Green Bay Packers - loss Week 11: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - loss Week 12: vs. Cleveland Browns - loss Week 13: @ Minnesota Vikings - loss Week 14: vs. Tennessee Titans - loss Week 15: @ Baltimore Ravens - loss Week 16: vs. Chicago Bears - win Week 17: @ Indianapolis Colts - loss

The Jaguars just have an awful team this year. I have them going 1-15 and that one win will come in their last home game against the Bears. Nick Foles will potentially be quarterbacking the Bears so that would be a great only game to win for the Jags. I think the Jaguars have a chance to beat teams like the Dolphins and Lions in weeks three and six respectively but ultimately won't. I think that game against the Dolphins will be the most winnable game besides the Bears but I think Tua Tagovailoa nags his first career win against the very poor Jaguars defense. At this point, the Jags can only hope no team sucks as much as them and that they can get Clemson quarterback, Trevor Lawrence with the first overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.

*At the end of this series, once I have gone through every team, I will give my playoff predictions as well as season awards.*
