May 31st just isn't a great day for JR Smith

Updated: Jul 9, 2020

Exactly two years later JR seems to make the headlines once again. If you don't know what two years ago was then I'll explain it to you. Two years ago in the NBA finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors were tied at 107 with the Cavs shooting a free throw. Assuming the free throw doesn't go in, you would expect the team to grab the rebound to be very eager to want to score so the game does not need to go into overtime. The cavs missed the free throw and JR snagged the rebound in an extremely athletic play. He managed to not just make a bad decision or bad pass or even miss a shot, he decided to dribble the ball out of the paint and out of the three point line for no apparent reason. Either this man thought they were winning or he was just as high as a kite and was totally clueless of what was going on. The game ended up going into overtime because JR decided it would be better to not try to win in regulation. That was two years ago when JR became the most hated man in Cleveland. Today, something radically different happened. JR decided that he was done with getting screwed on May 31st and on this day from now until he dies, he would be doing the screwing. According to JR some "white man" was trying to break into his car and he ended up smashing his windows. JR wasn't gonna put up with this so he decided to beat the living crap out of him. If you haven't seen the video go check it out on TMZ. JR finally after two years was able to let his anger out and this poor man who was just trying to get some weed from JR's car. JR, you are a legend who will never again be messed with. I suggest maybe taking up a new career in UFC where you can never again make the mistake of thinking the game is over when its really not. Oh wait. Did i really just say that? Here's a picture of one of the fight's from last night where this idiot turned his back on his opponent with time still left in the round and ended up getting rocked in the face.

So JR, maybe the UFC isn't the place for you even though I'm sure you could've beaten the living hell out of Woodley last night who looked like he was tanking. Whatever the future holds for JR, I am excited to see what happens next year for the man on May 31st.
