The Last Dance is everything everyone needs right now. Two main things came out of last night's two episodes. Number 1 is Jordan's Gambling Pro(Hobby)blem and number 2 is his political inactivity. Both of these ideas boil down to the same concept; Leave MJ alone. Imagine being someone that cannot get one second alone in his life. Imagine walking out of your hotel room to be swarmed with thousands of people unable to take a step without being confronted with a 5 year old kid asking for an autograph. The amount of stress this would put on MJ is immeasurable. MJ doesn't need to be the person that everyone wants him to be. MJ is the person that he enjoys bein
g. And anyone who wants to judge him for going to the casino and losing thousands of dollars is only jealous that they're not able to do the same exact thing. Because anyone in MJ's position would've done the exact same thing. He's a man that couldn't get enough competition. It wasn't about the money for him. As we saw by his one dollar a hand Blackjack play on the plane, he didn't care whether it was a dollar or ten thousand, he wanted to win. It was always about the thrill of winning, not the money that came with it. And now number 2, his political in-activism. Anyone that says MJ is in the wrong for not coming out and supporting someone is in the wrong. You cannot expect MJ, just because he is black to come out and support a black candidate. Let MJ do what he wants which means letting him stick to his profession. Blaming MJ for not supporting a black candidate because he is black is extremely ironic. There is no reason a citizen should support a candidate because of race. His infamous quote of "Republican's buy Nike's too" is symbolic he didn't want to piss off part of his fan base. And you can't blame him for that. For remaining uncontroversial in politics, he was able to attract all people from all political points of view. So screw anyone for criticizing MJ for his way of life. I can guarantee if you were in his role, you would've handled everything way way worse.
