SUPERMAN

Cam to the pats. Holy shit. I honestly thought this was a probable outcome. Prior to the draft this April, I predicted Cam would land in LA where he would take over the spot of long time Charger QB Philip Rivers but after the Chargers drafted Justin Herbert, it was clear they were done looking for a QB. The draft left Cam with only a few open teams that were in the search for the quarterback position and the pats were one of those teams. Many believed the pats would settle for Stidham but it just seemed unrealistic that this guy would actually start considering the little experience he had. Cam is a much much better player. I'm not necessarily a Cam lover like some people, but you need to respect this mans game. He's managed to have a great career, leading his team to the Superbowl while gaining an MVP to his name all while having a shitty team to support him. He's never had a team as solid looking as the patriots this year. CMAC has been helpful for Cam these past few seasons but CMAC doesn't truly help to supplement for solid WRs or TEs. I have extremely high expectations for Cam and the pats this year. If he doesn't find a way to get himself injured(he probably will) I see this as an MVP caliber season for Cam. He has a solid team with an even better defense to support him. If the pats can play as well as they did last year with a 40 year old, old man, than I would hope they would be able to play just as well if not better with Superman.
