Today marks the craziest day in twitter history. And it truly is a sad day for our country. If I told you I would be able to double any amount of money you have in an instant would you believe me. Well what if Elon Musk or Joe Biden or Mr.Beast said that same thing. Would you believe in their magical powers to double money in a press of a button? It is unknown as to how many people actually believe this but over 10 million dollars worth of people believe this. I am talking about the now infamous twitter hack that occurred this afternoon and affected every famous person there is in the world. The world was put into shock when every verified person on twitter was unable to communicate with the rest of the world. It would honestly be a great action movie in which society needs to travel the globe without the presence of anyone of fame. We can go back thousands and thousands of years and there have always been famous people who control other groups of people. Whether it was King Tut, Jesus, or Mussolini, people in power were always able to unleash their wrath against the normal citizens. But today for nearly two hours, the wrath was put to bed by the gods of twitter. All twitter accounts with a blue check mark were shutdown so that they would be unable to spread the message of these Bitcoin Hackers. The most interesting part of this whole story is the hackers and who they are. This is like a good old star wars conspiracy theory. Are the hackers Russian, Chinese, or simply two high school teens in their basement who hacked the whole twitter system and are now 10 million dollars richer than they were this morning. I am not an expert on bitcoin but I believe one of the principle concepts of bitcoin is that you remain safe from being tracked so all of the money is gone for good. Adios dollars. As I hinted to before, it truly is sad people fall for this type of stuff. I think it would be comprehensible if only one account got hacked and then you fell for the trap. But the fact that you actually believed 30 different famous people all wanted to do this "double your money" Bitcoin transaction at the same exact time, makes you an idiot and makes our society a sad place to live in.
